Mindfulness went mainstream at healthcare benefits company, Aetna, some time ago. The company even took part in clinical trials using mindfulness and yoga (Viniyoga) workplace programs, to help individuals better deal with stress at work.

At the Wisdom 2.0 Business Conference in New York City this fall, I heard Aetna’s CEO Mark Bertolini speak very openly about how these programs reduced “perceived stress”  and “stress levels” in participants. And, how the programs have been a crucial part of the companies edict to value talent.
